Shi Museum in Tianjin

Shi mansion is located in Yang Liuqing Town. It was the residence of the Shi Yuanshi family. It is called The First Mansion of North China and was built at the end of Qing dynasty (about 1875). The mansion covers about 7200 square meters and the building area is about 2900 square meters. The building complex includes several museums to demonstrate the traditional Chinese life style, customs and art items. The theater of Shifu mansion is the biggest civic mansion in North China. It takes about 40 minutes by car to get there from Nankai University.

 
Emperor Qin's Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum in Xi'an

The Emperor Qin's Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum is located in east Xi'an, it is the largest on-site museum in China, three main buildings of the museum, which were named Pit 1, Pit 2, Pit 3, were constructed on their original discovery sites. The museum is a main scenic spot of Xi'an City, it attracts about 1.5 million tourists annually. Approximately 40 million visitors from within China and abroad have visited the Museum in the past 20 years. Today "the eighth Wonder of the world" has become synonym of the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses. Emperor Qin's Terra-cotta Museum is a treasure house where the tourists can learn history, culture and human civilization of the ancient China.
